Contemporary Notions About AIDS. Guest Professor for the Graduate Program of Visual Arts at the Faculty of Design and Arts, Università IUAV di Venezia. Commissioned by the Office for Contemporary Art Norway, Oslo. Melgaard developed and conducted a Masters program structured around a series of lectures and workshops looking at the history and present of the AIDS crisis and its reflection within contemporary art and discourse. The course concluded with a public exhibition, Baton Sinister, by Melgaard and students at the Palazzo Contarini Corfù concurrent with the opening of La Biennale di Venezia, 54th International Art Exhibition, February 14-May 13, 2011.
